Saturdays

Saturday....I love Saturdays. Our Saturdays used to consist of shuffling between 3 girls soccer games. Our day would start at about 8 and usually we wouldn't get home before 3 or 4. Now that they're grown and 2 of them are moved out, our Saturdays consist more of sleeping in, coffee in bed, watching football, scrapbooking, computer time...pretty much anything we want! It's great!

Lately I've been listening to Switchfoot constantly...My favorite album of theirs is "Beautiful Letdown." I love their lyrics. I saw them in concert last summer at Cornerstone.

When I hear this song it just reminds me: I need to be the person I want to be. Not what everyone else wants or says....What God wants of me.....I want my life to mean something....
